Elderwake SMP is a lore heavy SMP. Here is the lore run down "Long ago, the Nine ruled openly: godly hands shaping oceans, forests, storms, and flame. Their power sang through the land, channeled into mortals, temples, and stories. But something changed. A rift in the divine. A prophecy left unfinished. And so, one by one, the gods vanished. The Dreaming Slumber, they called it. A silent exile to stop an ancient unraveling. Now, the world stirs once more. Mortals are no longer wholly mortal. Beings with wings, gills, claws, or spectral forms rise, Votaries, mortals who carry fragments of divine essence. Each player is touched by a god’s dream, echoing with ancient power: wings from Caelon’s domain, strength from Arum’s battlefields, or a connection to the dead through Moern’s grasp. Some seek to awaken the Pantheon. Others wish to replace them. And some believe the gods should never return, that their dreams are bleeding into the world and driving it mad. But balance is cracking. Strange omens rise. The sleeping gods stir, their dreams turning into nightmares. And beneath it all, something older than even the gods begins to whisper."
